It’s great to have time away with the whole family, but it’s not always easy to keep everyone amused…
At More2Scotland we have guides who are experienced teachers and can help devise a tour which will suit all ages and interests or we can point you in the direction of the
fantastic resources on offer from Scottish Galleries and Museums specially designed to keep young people engaged.
If you have a family member who is interested in the Romans we have a walking tour looking at Roman artefacts and an extended day to the Borders looking at Roman settlements.
Do they have a passion for dinosaurs? Then we can devise a tour to interest her/him and perhaps travel further afield to look at dinosaur tracks – maybe even over the sea to Skye where researchers from Edinburgh University have recently found a new dinosaur ‘stomping ground’.
If someone in your group is a Harry Potter fan there are tours devised to please – be it a walking tour to see where JK Rowling got her inspiration from and where she wrote the first – and last – book in the series or travelling further afield to the Highlands to watch the ‘Hogwarts Express’ chuntering along the railway track.
Or maybe you all just want to go and find a deserted beach to run on…
